Nunsense
Sunday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. and Monday, May 19 at 7:00 p.m. are open auditions for the cast of Nunsense at the Apple Shed, Hwy 79 in Clarksville, MO. Those who audtion will be asked to sing a song from the show or one of their own choosing.
Nunsense is a hilarious talent show staged by five survivors of the Little Sisters of Hoboken nunnery. The rest of the sisterhood have succumber to botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia, Child of God. The remaining "Little Hobos" parade their talents as a variety show stage to raise funds to bury the last four of the dearly departed sisters. Judy Allwood will serve as music director. Jim Dewey has designed sets for recent plays at the Apple Shed and directed plays in Hannibal. He will be the director of Nunsense.
Performances will be July 10, 11, 12 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m. Reservations can be made by call 1-877-858-7260
Missoula Children's Theatre returns to the Apple Shed this summer for a production of Rumpelstiltskin. Auditions for students beginning the first grade through grades 12 will be held Monday, July 28. Rehearsals will be held throughout the week -- daytime schedule. Performances will be Saturday, August 2. We can cast up to 60 participants. Watch this web site for more information.
