Raintree Arts Council

Raintree Arts Council is a community arts organization serving Pike and Lincoln Counties in east central Missouri.  We were organized in 1979 and are governed by a twelve-member board of trustees.  The council is owner and caretaker of the Apple Shed located on S Highway 79 in Clarksville, Missouri. 

Mission: We believe the arts transform us as individuals and as a community.  The arts enhance our self-expression, build our self-confidence, and provide us with opportunties to celebrate who we are as a community.  We believe the process is as important as the product and that together we can create programs and services that provide the opportunity for every person to participate in and experience the arts on a personal basis.
