The Apple Shed is the location of the Home Grown Folk Arts Festival Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 10:00 to 5:00. The Apple Shed is located on South Hwy 79, in Clarksville, Missouri. Local artists featured will be quilters, knitters, fiddlers, and more. Demonstrations and exhibits will be on-going throughout the day.
We are looking for more demonstrators, exhibitors. We are fortunate to have received funds from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency to help with this event to feature local artists, says Jamie Tomek administrator for Raintree Arts Council.
